Emily Wyche
Staff Attorney
In multiple SELC positions and offices, Emily has advocated for clean air, clean water, and coastal resilience, and her career highlight so far has been helping to stop the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Today in the Charleston office, she draws from her experiences that began as an intern in Charleston and grew for three years as an associate in the Charlottesville office.
I love that SELC is rooted in the South, allowing us to advocate for the region we call home and connect to the communities and people most impacted by our work.
Emily Wyche
She is now back in the state where she grew up, after attending law school in Georgia and working in Virginia.
A special getaway for Emily is Jones Gap State Park in South Carolina’s Upstate region, because she went there when she first started hiking and camping and it sparked her love of the outdoors.
